What to expect when coming to Hurghada/Egypt
1.Transport
Hurghada is an absolute paradise. Neither of us had been to Egypt before and expectations were high. Wether you arrived in the middle of the night at ther airbnb transportation are easy access for everyone. Airport. Taxi drivers are working 24 hours a day Uber and careem are also working around the Hurghada city.
2 .Shopping
Another need to know we would love to share is the shopping situation. Hurghada has a lot of little convenient stores that provide little snacks, water and essentials that will get you through the day. But if you want to do a big shop, find your way to one of these places :

- Bestway
- Spinneys
In the case your budget is very tight, shop at the local markets and support the local farmer. Do good and join the slow travel movement and live more sustainable.
3.Safety
We consider Hurghada safe to travel. Egypt as a whole is relatively safe to travel to, even more so in Hurghada for the fact that there are many resorts and infrastructure to support tourism. The people in Hurghada are warm and friendly, and we felt comfortable walking around both day and night
